Privacy Policy

Short version: Starproof works on your iPhone. We don’t collect your personal data, we don’t have accounts, and we don’t track you.
What stays on your device
- Birth details (name if you add one, birth date, time and place) are stored only on your iPhone and used to calculate your chart and daily readings.
- Check-ins, streaks and accuracy scores are stored only on your iPhone, in storage shared with the Starproof widgets.
- Location. If you allow it, Starproof reads your approximate location on the device to time today’s sunrise-based hours for where you are. To show your city’s name, the coordinates are passed to Apple’s geocoding service. Your location is never sent to us.
- Notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone. No push server is involved.
Services provided by Apple
- Place search. When you type your birth city, the text is sent to Apple’s MapKit service to find matching places. Apple’s privacy policy applies.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store. We never see your payment details; we only receive whether your subscription is active.
- Crash reports and analytics are shared with us by Apple only if you opt in to “Share with App Developers” in iOS settings. They are anonymous.
What we don’t do
- No sign-up or account.
- No advertising, ad networks or tracking across apps and websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No third-party analytics SDKs.
Deleting your data
Open Me → Delete account and hold to confirm. This permanently removes your birth details, check-ins and history from the device. Deleting the app also removes it. To cancel a subscription, use Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Children
Starproof is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Future features
If we add features that need a server (for example friends or AI-written readings), we will update this policy and ask for your consent in the app before any data leaves your device.

Starproof is for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, psychological or financial advice.

删除你的数据

儿童
Starproof 的年龄分级为 13+，并非面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会在知情的情况下收集儿童信息。
未来功能
如果我们增加需要服务器的功能（例如好友或 AI 撰写的运势），我们会更新本政策，并在任何数据离开你的设备之前，先在 App 内征得你的同意。
